For me, transition conjures images of change—the changing of seasons, life's big milestones, and the phoenix rising from the ashes.
Beginnings. Endings. Change.
All transitions that can evoke different emotions. Within transition we find growth. Transitions push us from our comfort zone. This liminal space in time can be difficult. But if you sort through the ashes, you might be able to find some beauty and good in the situation at hand.
If the transition is out of your control, or brings some form of pain it can be hard to see the good. That is okay. You can feel the heaviness of change and give yourself space to feel the whole spectrum of your emotions. But remember, the whole spectrum of your emotions also includes happiness and good.
- Is there a transition in your life you want to make? If so, what is holding you back?
- Think of a time when something in your life came to an end. What beginning did that ending make room for? How did that positively impact your life?
- Are there things you need to let go of so that you can step into the life you want to live?
My hands down favorite scent I've developed thus far, is No. 13. If you follow me on instagram or met me in person, you've probably heard the story of how and why I love this one so much. Very long story short, it is an ode, a love letter of sorts, to my spiritual practice, my investment into myself, and all of the things that had to shift and change to get to where I am today.
It will be included in the box every year. It's a candle rooted in all of the things that I hold the most dear. I hope that you enjoy it as much as I do.
