Important Information & FAQ
How long is a subscription?
All subscriptions are available monthly. You can pause, skip, or cancel your subscription whenever you're ready. To avoid another month of billing, you must make your selection by the 21 of each month.
How do I cancel and annual subscription?
The same way you cancel a monthly subscription. You'll have access to all of the content and boxes that are included in your annual plan until your renewal date. At your renewal date your subscription will end and will not be renewed.
When will I be charged?
Your first subscription will charge when you sign up. All months after that will bill on the 1st of the month.
If you sign up between the 1st and 12th of the month, you'll be billed immediately and receive that month's box. Your next billing will be on the 1st of the following month.
Example: You sign up on the 12th of August. You'll be billed immediately. Your August content will ship 8/15 and your next subscription will be in September.
If you sign up between the 12th and the 30th/31st, you'll be billed immediately and receive the following month's box. You'll receive your second billing and box the following month.
Example: You sign up on 8/20. You'll be billed immediately. Your first box will ship in September and your second billing and shipment will be in October.
When do you announce the scents & ritual?
The scents and ritual are announced on the 15th of the month. That gives you 6 days to decide if you want to skip the following month's ritual?
How do I buy just the aroma scent or the ritual?
The Aroma tier is the only way to get the monthly exclusive scent. They cannot be purchased on their own.
Some of the rituals are exclusive to the Wick & Word Subscription; others are available in the Self-Care Kit section of the website.
Can I upgrade the size of the candle or ritual kit?
You sure can! Just email hello@apothecary19.com and we'll get it taken care of.
