Day 21| ACCOMPLISH
‘uh-kaam-pluhsh transitive verb: to bring about (a result) by effort
Today is a milestone! You've shown up every day for three weeks! WAY TO GO!
Today is all about taking a moment to reflect on your accomplishments. Can you notice a difference in how you feel as all the last three weeks come together? Take a moment to pause and really think about how it all feels. Use the space below (the first journal prompt) to record your thoughts.
You consciously stuck to a commitment to yourself for three solid weeks, moving through challenges such as intention setting, building a reliable routine, finding strength and compassion, letting go of attachments, and defining your purpose. You should be genuinely proud of yourself. To make space for yourself during the busiest time of the year is no small feat. Pat yourself on the back.
Please don't rush past this moment. Acknowledging what you have accomplished (especially the internal wins, like better self-talk and clearer boundaries) reinforces the value of your efforts and is a necessary act of self-care. How you feel today, in this process, is a direct result of you showing up each day and being honest with yourself. This holistic view also allows you to see the big picture: your self-care is not separate from your life; it is at its center. Celebrate your fulfillment and accomplishments. Now, we prepare to apply these integrated lessons to the final days of the calendar, making sure they stick.
JOURNAL PROMPTS:
- What is the single biggest thing you have successfully accomplished (internal or external) that you are most proud of from the last 20 days of focused self-care?
- How has your personal definition of self-care changed since you started this journey?
- What area of your life currently feels the most harmonious?
- How are you acknowledging your accomplishments today?
