Day 10| CYCLE
ˈsī-k(ə-)liŋ |noun: a course or series of events or operations that recur regularly and usually lead back to the starting point
Today is about recognizing that your life is always in motion. From the shift in seasons to the shift in your daily circumstances, this change, this cycle, is constant. The good news is that whatever you are facing right now, it is temporary. The turning of the wheel always brings new opportunities.
If things have felt difficult or slow, today reminds you that a shift is already happening, creating an opportunity for a new beginning or a major course correction. If you are currently feeling energized and motivated, appreciate the moment and be aware that the pace will naturally change.
Your commitment today is to stop fighting your current circumstances and instead manage your mindset. Accepting where you are is the wisest action you can take. Recognize that this season, this cycle, will turn again. You get to decide how you approach the opportunity that this inevitable change presents. Focus on your mindset today, and know that you are moving toward a new point in the journey.
JOURNAL PROMPTS:
- How do you celebrate the change of the season in your life? Does it match the calendar? Where do you feel you are in the current cycle?Do you feel compelled to make changes? If so, what are they?
- If current circumstances (seasonal or personal) represent an opportunity for a new beginning, what small thing are you ready to change or start today?
- What expectation or desire for things to be "perfect" are you ready to surrender today to better accept the natural cycle of life and energy?
THE GIFT
Today's gift is a reed diffuser. It is one of my all-time favorites–The Wheel. I use this scent in both of my bathrooms. To me, it smells like a rich folk's bathroom. :) It is just lovely, clean, and classy. The Wheel of Fortune tarot card inspires this scent and represents the end of one cycle and the beginning of the next. It matches perfectly with today's intention.
For the sample size box, your reed diffuser is travel-sized. After you unscrew the wooden top, pop off the plastic cap. Then add the white ring clip (that will help it clip into your car's vent) and screw the wooden top back on. Then place the two little sticks inside the holes. If you aren't putting it in the car, feel free to skip the white ring.
For everyone else, yours is a full-size diffuser. Reed diffuser sticks are loose in your box; those go in there. I recommend starting with five. Over time, the scent will weaken. Remove the sticks from the bottle and turn them upside down. When the scent weakens again, get fresh sticks!
