Day 16 | APPRECIATE

 Today is for appreciation. We hold profound contentment and gratitude for all the good in our lives.


When you cultivate appreciation, you become deeply aware of the richness in each area of your life—relationships, work, and well-being—and how these contribute to a satisfying, fulfilling existence. Appreciation invites you to pause and savor the present moment, finding beauty and satisfaction in even the smallest details. Acknowledging life’s gifts can heighten your awareness of the joy around you, intensifying your ability to fully experience and cherish your emotions, connections, and achievements.

Appreciation doesn’t have to be a grand production. It can be as simple as savoring your morning coffee or laughing at a ridiculous meme your friend sent you. It’s those little moments, the ones we often breeze past, that can make life feel so much richer when we stop to notice them. Gratitude is like a muscle; the more you work it, the stronger it gets. Soon, you’ll find yourself appreciating everything from how your favorite socks always fit just right to the perfect timing of a green light when you're running late.

As you consciously practice appreciation, you see your life as full and complete, allowing you to feel truly content and satisfied. The sunshine melts are made with a citrus blend of tangerine, orange, and lemon. This shower melt is perfect for lifting the spirits and giving you a little push to seize the day. 

I love making them, especially when I am feeling a little down, because they always make the studio seem a little brighter and put me in the best mood.

Today's gift is a rose quartz stone. Rose quartz is traditionally associated with love and compassion. It is also associated with self-care and clarity. Over the years, rose quartz has always been one a reach for regularly to help me clear my mind and realize all of the love that surrounds me and what I have to be grateful for. 

Rose quartz is a sturdy stone and doesn't require much special care. You can clean it with water (avoid salt water if you can). I also recommend keeping it out of sunlight as it can fade over time.

This gift is another artist collab. Madison is a local painter in the Twin Cities and I love her work. I have several of her painted glasses in my collection. The Loon wine glass is my favorite. :)
