Day 14 | ALIGN

Alignment in self-care is about creating harmony between your actions and routines with your values, goals, and needs. When these are aligned, self-care becomes an expression of what matters most to you, rather than tasks to check off a list. You'll find yourself in a rhythm that feels natural and genuinely restorative, that helps you feel more connected to yourself. By aligning your self-care with your priorities, you can find a sense of purpose and flow that energizes and sustains you, making each practice more impactful and rewarding.

Alignment in self-care doesn’t mean everything has to be perfect. Life is messy, and your self-care practice needs to adjust accordingly sometimes. What matters is that your choices reflect what truly supports and nurtures you. Maybe today, alignment means a long, luxurious bath, and tomorrow, it’s five deep breaths while you’re waiting for your coffee to brew. The key is tuning in and asking yourself, "What do I really need right now? ", and letting that guide your actions.

It is important to remember that this is a living practice. You must listen closely to what you need in different moments and seasons, and feel confident in letting go of what no longer serves you, and in turn embracing the practices that support your current journey. Self-care isn’t just about immediate relief or pampering—it is also an intentional way to support your long-term well-being and growth. This creates a foundation of trust within yourself, helping you make choices that honor your path and purpose. As you align more closely with what feels right, self-care evolves into a grounding force that enhances all aspects of your life.

When your self-care is aligned with your values, it will ripple into other areas of your life. You might notice that you’re more patient, more focused, or even more joyful in your daily interactions. Small, thoughtful actions that reflect your priorities can have a big impact over time, creating a sense of balance that feels both attainable and meaningful. It’s not about doing it all; it’s about doing what feels right for you.

JOURNAL PROMPTS

  • Which self-care habits no longer serve me, and what new practices would feel more aligned with my needs and personal growth? Consider releasing any routines that feel out of sync with your current journey and brainstorm new practices that resonate more deeply with who you are today.
  • How does being in alignment with my self-care impact other areas of my life, like my relationships, work, or personal goals?Think about the ripple effects that aligned self-care has on your life and how it supports your sense of balance, purpose, and well-being across different areas.

25 DAYS & DELUXE 25 DAYS

Your gift today is a print from my friend Susan, the artist behind Metta Ren. We met a few years ago at Art-A-Whirl when we booth buddies. I love her artwork. It's so simple and beautiful.

If you got a 25 Days box, your print is a blackbird. If you follow me on social media, or know me IRL this one is no surprise. Blackbirds, especially crows and ravens, are my very favorite of all birds. Their symbolism runs deep in many cultures. While that can vary, one is pretty universal is for transformation and change.

If you got a 25 Days Deluxe box, your print is Sticks and Stones. When I first sat down to work on this year's box and what the days would mean, for align I immediately thought of smooth stones stacked on top of each other. Knowing, that Susan's Sticks and Stones was a personal favorite this was a not brainer. :)

25 DAYS BOOKISH BOX

Today's gift for you is a found family candle. While found family isn't my favorite trope it is definitely top three. It felt right in its place with today's intention. What is a found family other than aligning yourself with the people that feel just right. If you'd ever like to re-order, you can find it here
