Day 03| THRIVE
ˈthrīv | intransitive verb: to grow vigorously
Today is about ensuring you don't just survive this hectic holiday season. You're going to THRIVE, and it starts today.
To thrive, you have to focus on nurturing yourself. You have to notice the abundance around you. It's more than avoiding stress; it requires truly nourishing your mind. Your body. And your spirit. Think about what fills your cup? What makes you feel refreshed? Focusing on the things that make you truly feel vibrant, creative, and healthy is nature's recipe for a contented existence.
Thriving, that's big Empress Energy, my friend. Depending on how long you've been part of the Apothecary 19 community, you may or may not know that the Empress card from the tarot is one of my absolute favorites. Empress Energy is all about practical self-care and knowing that you are worthy of being nurtured. Remember: your mind and body are your most important resources.
You don't need to wait for January 1st to prioritize your happiness. You don’t need to wait until the holidays are over. The resources you need to thrive are right here. Your commitment today is simple: identify one practical, non-negotiable act of nourishment that supports your why from Day 1 and go do it. This is how we move from reacting to the season to genuinely enjoying it. You deserve to feel good!
JOURNAL PROMPTS
- What is one specific, non-negotiable act of self-nurturing you will deliberately invest in today to help yourself thrive? This should be something that actively rejuvenates you. Think about food, rest, moving your body, etc.
- Thriving is abundance, and it takes many forms. What are three non-monetary forms of abundance present in your life? How have you nourished this abundance?
- As we focus on thriving, not surviving, this holiday season, what is one specific schedule or social adjustment you can make to support that mindset? What's holding you back from making that change?
THE GIFT
Sample, Classic, and Deluxe Boxes
Your gift today is one of my most popular fragrances - The Empress. A scent I developed to honor the Empress from the tarot. I based all of its notes on the plant, flower, and herbal correspondences to abundance and the Empress card. If the energy in your space needs a reset, you're trying to manifest some abundance, or you just want to feel warm and snuggly a few sprays on your person, you linens or furniture, or the middle of the room should do it.
Bookish Box
Your gift today is a 6 Star Reads shelf sign from my friend Jen's shop, Spiced Blooms. When we think about all of the books we read in a year, no matter how many you read, there are some that change us. These exceptional stories are my six-star reads. Abundant and thriving in so many ways, and I think they deserve a special place on their shelves.
