No. 101: An Ode to the Sunken City, a scent for stillness.
Death reared himself a throne in a drowned city. This scent remembers the city that Poe dreamt of at the bottom of the sea. Ozone and bergamot at the top are the cold pause before a wave closes in overhead. Lime offers the freshness of one last deep breath before the middle notes of sea salt, eucalyptus, green leaves, and sage begin to sink into the deep base notes. Amber, moss, balsam, sandalwood, pine, and cedar anchor the scent in a permanent stillness that's eerily comforting.
