James Barrie—a scent inspired by Emily McIntire's Hooked

Officially licensed Emily McIntire candles based on Hooked from the Never After series. This is a pre-order campaign and will begin shipping on 2/26.

James Barrie. Hook. I do love a villain and Mr. Barrie didn’t disappoint. Having a scent description of simply spicy, I wanted to capture something layered and complex. A scent that was masculine, dangerous, and also spicy. For this candle, inspired by Emily McIntire’s bestseller’s namesake, I opted for top notes of whiskey and citrus that morph into something spicy and seductive as it burns. In the middle and base notes, you’ll find amber, incense, leather, and just a hint of smoke. If you’re looking to turn your space into a sexy moody vibe, this candle will do the trick “everynight and straight on ‘til morning.”

I affirm that the artwork featured on the products available for purchase is entirely my own original creation. Emily McIntire has provided their approval for the use of this artwork, but please note that they have not directly collaborated with me in the artistic process. Additionally, any character traits depicted in the artwork are purely the result of my imagination and have no connection to any future characters in books by Emily McIntire, as I possess no foreknowledge of such traits.

ABOUT THE PRE-ORDER

Since this is a new collection, I will have it available for two weeks from 2/12 - 2/26. Your orders will begin shipping on 2/26. After this initial pre-order, I will evaluate whether they'll be joining the bookish line up as always in stock, or made to order. Please note that if you purchase something on pre-order along with other in stock items, your order will not ship until the pre-order is complete and ready to go. That means, if you order other scents with the Never After collection, your order will not ship until 2/26. All pre-orders will ship in the order that they are received. I am a one-woman circus and sometimes delays happen.
