No. 28 - an ode to loving yourself

No. 28 is an ode to possibly the hardest part of self-care, loving yourself. As we approach the time of year where we often focus on loving others, or the lack of having a romantic partner, I challenge you to look inward and spend sometime with the things you love about yourself. A tall challenge, sure, but even being open to switching your internal dialogue is an act of self-love.

I love this sent because it is gentle. Don't mistake that for subtle. The scent will be as strong as other Apothecary 19 candles you've come to love. But this candle is best described as gentle. There are a lot of soft floral elements—wild roses, peonies, and fresh green leaves. Amber and sandalwood provide the base notes that give this scent a solid foundation while the lavender, rosemary, and sage help balance out the floral notes so that it's not overly flowery.
