Nicholas Woodsworth—a scent inspired by Emily McIntire's Wretched

Officially licensed Emily McIntire candles based on Wretched from the Never After series. This is a pre-order campaign and will begin shipping on 2/26.

Nicholas. I'm not typically one to root for the cops, but man did Nicholas Woodsworth get me. I know I sound like a broken record, but my favorite thing about Emily McIntire's writing is the character growth. I love how he starts off as the confident cop with strict morals and one job and by the end of the story, woof. That's clearly changed. I worked that transformation into this Wretched inspired candle as well. The top notes are cinnamon and citrus. So while they're spicy they're also a bit bright. Once those notes are nice and warm you'll get a rush of the rich woods, think pine, juniper, cedar, balsam. To round out this scent and really fuse the cinnamon with the woody notes, there's a hint of oakmoss, amber, and camphor. This scent is truly complex, just like Nicholas "Brayden" Woodsworth.

Emily McIntire has provided their approval for the use of this artwork, but please note that they have not directly collaborated with me in the artistic process. Additionally, any character traits depicted in the artwork are purely the result of my imagination and have no connection to any future characters in books by Emily McIntire, as I possess no foreknowledge of such traits.

ABOUT THE PRE-ORDER

Since this is a new collection, I will have it available for two weeks from 2/12 - 2/26. Your orders will begin shipping on 2/26. After this initial pre-order, I will evaluate whether they'll be joining the bookish line up as always in stock, or made to order. Please note that if you purchase something on pre-order along with other in stock items, your order will not ship until the pre-order is complete and ready to go. That means, if you order other scents with the Never After collection, your order will not ship until 2/26. All pre-orders will ship in the order that they are received. I am a one-woman circus and sometimes delays happen.
